Home requirements: Adult only

Dogs: Obelix can be an only dog or homed with a friendly resident dog.

Cats: No

Obelix is a handsome boy who arrived from Romania in January. He is currently in a home foster in Kent, is progressing well and now looking for his forever home.

Obelix is housetrained and has learned how to sit. He is doing well on his walks and doesn’t pull on the lead and has been good with dogs he has met. He isn’t phased by traffic or bike, although doesn’t like the noise of motorbikes too much. He is good in the car and is ok being left for short periods.

He shows no signs of food aggression. Obelix loves to snuggle and is a very loving boy. He likes to play with his toys too.

Obelix is adjusting to his new life and surroundings and can be a little nervous at first, so patience and understanding is needed for this lovely boy. After a hesitant start, and with plenty of positive reinforcement, he now enjoys being stroked by his foster mum.

He is gaining in confidence and will need patient and understanding owners who will continue with training and to help him grow in confidence. Obelix needs to be in a adult only home. He could live as a only dog or with a friendly resident dog.
