Romanian Rescue Appeal is one of the largest UK charities working to rescue injured, starving and homeless dogs in Romania. With our supporters help we can save the dogs we are able to take into our care from a life of suffering and abuse on the streets and from death in the public shelters.
So far we have rescued over 2,700 dogs and we do this by running our three private shelters. At our shelters we provide the dogs in our care with the food they need and comfortable kennel space. We provide emergency and ongoing veterinary treatment in a warm and safe environment until we can find loving new adopters who can provide the dogs a forever home. Most of these homes are in the UK.
