Dori’s story is one of resilience and hope. Rescued from a village where she lived after escaping from life on a chain, Dori was fending for herself on the streets, frightened and hungry. She was extremely skinny and wary of people approaching her, but her life began to change when one of our amazing shelter workers started feeding her regularly.
Through patience and kindness, they earned her trust, and Dori was brought to safety at the shelter as soon as a kennel became available. This small but mighty girl, has faced her challenges with incredible strength. She only has one eye, as the other was already missing when she was rescued. Recently, she underwent surgery to remove two small tumours and is now fully recovered and ready to begin a new chapter in a loving home.
She is 10/12 kgs so not a big girl and measures 41 cm from floor to shoulder, 53cm from neck to base of tail.
Dori is a little reserved when first meeting new people but once she feels comfortable she enjoys attention. This adorable girl is looking for a foster or forever home where she can finally experience the care and kindness she deserves.
