Lovely Callie is currently in emergency foster in Billingshurst, West Sussex after her adopted dad became seriously ill and can no longer care for her. She’s now looking for a new, loving forever home.

Callie is a gentle Romanian girl who has been in the UK since 2019. She’s 11 years old, medium-sized (around 20kg), spayed, and still fit, active, and very much enjoys life.

She’s living happily with two male dogs in her foster home and is comfortable with females too. She’s also absolutely fine with cats and other small furries. Callie gains confidence from the company of other dogs, so a multi-dog household would suit her best.

She can be a little wary of new people at first and will need time to build trust, but once she knows you, she’s affectionate and loyal. She would be best with older children (12+).

Callie walks beautifully on and off lead, loves her daily adventures—especially beach trips, countryside walks, and playtime with other dogs—and is perfectly content relaxing under a pub or café table while you enjoy a drink or meal. She travels well in the car and can be left for short periods without fuss.
