VET BILLS OVERDUE

Hi All

We have published a few appeals for donations over the last few days. We are in a really dire situation and we just don’t know where else to turn. Adoptions are at their lowest which causes a knock on effect for all other aspects, as vaccinations, neutering and preventative flea an worming treatment are not being covered, we can claim less on Gift Aid, we run the happy bus less frequently and invoice keeps coming in nonetheless, as we cannot leave the dogs without food or treatment. So we need help.

We have large bills with our 2 main vets, a clinic in Tecuci near the RRC and a clinic in Bucharest that has helped us with serious emergencies for several years. All the invoices are in the pictures attached and to summarise we owe these 2 clinics:

• RON 9,280 = GBP 1,623 to Medvet up to November 2022;
• RON 8,036 = GBP 1,405 to Royal Vets for February 2023;
• RON 14,248 GBP 2,491 to Royal Vets for March 2023;
• RON 13,596 GBP 2,377 to Royal Vets for April 2023.

The total is GBP 7,896 and one of the 2 clinics has told us that if we aren’t able to bring the bills up to date they will stop providing treatment to our dogs. Unfortunately they are a small local clinic which cannot afford to give us long credit terms to allow us to fundraise. We will have to try and look for other clinics that can offer better payment terms but that process isn’t quick so in the meantime we are completely reliant on them, so please, help us make sure our dogs continue to benefit from the treatment they need.
