Home requirements: Adult only home.

Dogs: Must be homed with a resident dog.

Cats: Yes.

Young Albie is a lovely young lad currently in UK foster (Chesterfield, S40) who is looking for his forever home.

He is a young boy who loves the company of other dogs and really enjoys meeting them on his walks, which he loves. He enjoys running around and his recall is pretty good, although he can sometimes get over-excited. He is affectionate when he becomes comfortable and enjoys cuddles on the sofa and is always happy to see his foster parents in the mornings.

Albie lives with another dog in the home, but unfortunately she doesn’t want to play and this has affected his confidence. Therefore he must go to a home where he has a friendly, playful dog he can interact and spend his time with.

He is currently on a low GI diet as recommend by the vet and does have a some food anxiety – however this has improved markedly. Any potential adopters will need to take this into consideration.

Albie is an exceptionally gentle dog – he can sometimes be afraid of humans but this manifests itself by him running to his bed or barking. He is not bothered by the doorbell, mail being posted He has lived with a cat previously with no issues. He has not lived with small animals. He doesn’t tend to play with toys too much but loves antler chews and chicken’s feet.

We are looking for an adult only home with a friendly and playful doggy companion who can help Albie regain his confidence and spend his time with. Experience with rescue and/or nervous dogs please.

*Please note Albie has not been neutered

Please click on the adopt button and fill out our online enquiry form if you could offer Albie a loving home. If you are not in a position to foster or adopt but would still like to help, please consider sponsoring a dog instead.
