Jerry is an energetic 11 month old, mixed breed dog who is living in a UK foster since he arrived from Romania. He is very affectionate with the people he knows but reserved with those he is not familiar with.

Jerry would suit best an active home who enjoy outdoor activities to stimulate his active mind. Jerry would benefit from attending dog training sessions to teach him (and his new owner) some rules and boundaries to consolidate his confidence. For this reason he needs a quiet adult only home where someone is around most of the day – a home in a quiet location would be best as he can sometimes be a bit noisy.

Jerry is fine with other dogs although it must be noted that he sometimes attempts to stretch the boundaries if tasty treats are on offer and he thinks he can get away with pushing the other dogs out of the way. For this reason, it would be best if he were to be the only dog in the home or perhaps with a laid back female resident dog.

We are looking for experienced adopters for Jerry. You must have previously owned a dog and understand the needs of a rescue. Jerry would not be suitable for first-time adopters. Jerry is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
