Urgent Foster Home Needed
Handsome Ricky is currently in a short term foster home with his devoted foster Dad and oldie female dog Meggie .
We need to find Ricky his forever home or a longer term foster home,where he can progress and continue to adjust to life in a home environment.
He is a Medium sized boy at approximately 22/23 kg ,he is slim and has very long legs .
Ricky is castrated and is just over 1 year old.
He needs a home with experience people and no children.Ricky is still very nervous of new things and needs help and time to gain confidence.
He can live with another dog ,preferably female.Another young or self confident playful dog would help Ricky .
Ricky is learning to walk on a harness and lead but needs a patient and understanding person /people to help him take things at a pace which is right for him.
Ricky can be left at home for reasonable periods of time in the day ,providing he has adequate stimulation and enrichment .
We really would like him to be fostered or adopted by a person/people who can see his potential and give him time and training to become a confident boy.
He is very attached to his foster Dad but sadly his foster Dad has to work more ,so Ricky is having to be left for longer periods than is good for a young dog.
He really is a super dog and once he gets to know people and trust ,he us very loving and playful .
A home without cats and small furries is best for Ricky.
He really needs a home with a secure good sized garden please and preferably in the countryside or on the edge of a town.Ricky wouldn’t cope living in a city or busy town centre .
He currently lives with his foster Dad in Hampshire in the GU35 Area .
