Dave is currently in kennels in York, where he is being worked with to help him adapt to life off the streets. He appears to have reduced hearing and vision and is reluctant on the lead, so would benefit from an experienced owner. Dave needs a patient family, preferably without children, who can give him the attention he deserves. He has been out with the other dogs but seems to prefer his own company and would prefer to be homed on his own.
Dave is a lovely boy who doesn’t ask for much: he just needs a quiet home with a secure garden where he can come and go as he pleases. Oh, and a few ear rubs each day! A bed next to a warm fire would be even better! We have also discovered that Dave does enjoy his home comforts! Dave really is a lovely boy who is looking for some love and comfort in his older years. If you could foster or adopt Dave, please click on the adopt button and fill out the form.
